White Memorial College of Physiotherapy shall be an indigenized college of twenty first century campus, dedicated to quality in Physiotherapy education and training, guided by shared values and principles and inspired to exceed students, community and University expectations.
OUR FOUNDER
Dr. K. Rajendran, M.D (Hom) was the founder of the White Memorial Educational Institutions such as Homeo Medical College, College of Physiotherapy, College of Education, College of Nursing, School of Nursing, Matriculation School and White Mission Hospital. He was the Chairman of the White Memorial Educational Institutions and also the Principal of the White Memorial Homeo Medical College, Attoor. These institutions are run under the White Memorial Educational Society, Attoor. His prime aim was to establish various professional institutions in the country and abroad. He established the White Memorial Homeo Medical College, Attoor in the academic year 1978–1979. This is the first private Homeo Medical College in Tamil Nadu. Various hospitals such as White Mission Hospital at Attoor, Peripheral Clinics at Panachamoodu, Marthandam, Colachel, Mandaikadu and Edaicode run under the White Memorial Educational Society.
Dr. Leela Bai Rajendran, M.D. (Hom.), oversees the management of the White Memorial Educational Society. With over 30 years of experience in the field, she serves as the Treasurer of the Society and as Chairman of the White Memorial Educational Institutions and Hospitals. Previously she served as Principal of the White Memorial Homoeo Medical College, Attoor. Her dedication, sincerity and strong administrative skills have guided the Society’s growth and the development of high-quality educational and healthcare services. Her aim is to advance the Society’s institutions to national and international standards and to ensure excellence in teaching, training and patient care.
